The Alaska Chamber will host its Policy Forum following the Fall Forum Thursday, October 1st. It is a stand-alone event and will be held virtually, by Zoom. Unlike the Fall Forum, the Policy Forum is for members only. The purpose of the Policy Forum is for Alaska Chamber membership to add relevant positions to the Chamber’s advocacy platform and make necessary revisions to the 2020 Priorities & Positions. The positions adopted at the Policy Forum become the blueprint for the Chamber’s advocacy efforts in the year ahead.
Make your voice heard! This is your opportunity as a member to learn, weigh-in, and vote on policy positions that have been brought forward through the Legislative Affairs Committee and now on to membership.
Only one representative per Alaska Chamber General Member and Local Chamber in good standing may vote.
Although we are virtual this year, we will strictly adhere to the “one member, one vote” policy and voting will be anonymous as it has been in previous years.
Once registered and payment is made, a link for the Zoom call will be sent directly to each attendee 24 hours before the event begins.
