Conflict Resolution: Understanding the sources of conflict and using them to your advantage
Most supervisors deal with conflicts in one form or another, but few supervisors have mastered effective resolution techniques. This four-hour class will showcase different personalities that tend to cause conflict and how best to manage the individual and related scenarios. You’ll also learn about the different types of conflict found in the workplace and the tools for resolution. Lastly, few people enjoy dealing with conflict, but you’ll walk away with the know-how for making all types of conflict productive.

• Recognize difficult personalities as a source of conflict and ways to manage them;
• Identify the types of conflict;
• Recognize five different ways to resolve conflict and when to use each; and
• Understand how to make workplace conflict productive.
