Hotel Captain Cook, Anchorage: The Alaska Association of Municipal Clerks is an organization that focuses on providing educational training and mentoring and professional growth opportunities.
The 2018 Alaska Association of Municipal Clerk’s Conference is scheduled for November 12 and 13, with the Academy scheduled for November 11.
The conference will be held at the Hotel Captain Cook, located at 939 West 5th Avenue in beautiful downtown Anchorage.
Meet and reconnect with Alaska Clerks, share experiences and bring home new ideas! Conference topics include Ethics/Conflict of Interest, Generational Diversity, Stress Management, Emotional Pressure and Time/Life Management, Clerks Resources and an update on the work of the Alaska Election Policy Working Group. Conference attendees earn 2 CMC “Experience” or 2 MMC “Professional/Social” points towards IIMC Certification. The conference takes place Monday and Tuesday, November 12 & 13. The registration fee is $350 for members and $400 for non-members.
