Anchorage Chamber Announces Gold Pan Winners
Alaska Chip Company won a Gold Pan award for Entrepreneurial Excellence.
The Anchorage Chamber of Commerce’s 66th Annual Gold Pan Awards banquet, with the theme “Route 66,” was held November 17 at the Dena’ina Civic and Convention Center. For more than sixty-five years, Gold Pan Awards have been awarded to those who have shown business and entrepreneurial excellence, as well as a loyal commitment to Anchorage through community service.
Five Winners Selected
Fifteen finalists were selected across five categories. From them, five winners were selected:
Alaska Military Youth Academy won a Gold Pan award for Distinguished Community Service (large).

Wilderness Adventures for Kids Everywhere won a Gold Pan award for Distinguished Community Service (small).

Business Excellence: LifeMed Alaska
Entrepreneurial Excellence: Alaska Chip Company
Hospice of Anchorage won a Gold Pan award for Nonprofit: Above and Beyond.

In addition, a volunteer of the year award was presented to the Anchorage Chamber Young Professionals Group Chair and Ambassador, Logan Burt. Former Anchorage Chamber President and CEO Bruce Bustamante was recognized with the 2023 Chairman’s Award.
