GCI announced the recipients of its 2019 philanthropy campaign – 12 nonprofit organizations that work to improve the lives of Alaskans across the state. Each of the 12 nonprofits will be highlighted by GCI during a monthly “spotlight” campaign that includes promotional signs and digital displays at GCI’s 30+ retail stores, features on GCI social media channels and promotion on iHeart radio stations.
As part of its effort to help cultivate Alaska’s next generation of leaders, GCI has committed $100,000 to the next round of its statewide scholarship program. . Fifty students will each receive a $2,000 scholarship for the 2019-20 academic year. Funds from the GCI Scholarship Program can be used for tuition and books.
Whether through financial contributions, grants, in-kind donations or scholarships, GCI has a long history of supporting the causes and organizations that serve our customers.
